Private peering includes Private VLAN that allows to establish a direct connection between two IX members within a separately allocated VLAN with using (802.1) Q-tagging.
Description of Private Vlan Service
There are two sides of the Private VLAN connection: A. Initiator The initiator sends a request to the organization of PI and pays for the service, all following actions with this connection will be made only on his request. B. The second side. The second side can also be called the member. The member must confirm the organization of the Private VLAN with the initiator. Both the initiator and the member must be connected to LL-IX.
